Social Risks Wheel

Home / What is Abuse? / Social Risks Wheel

Violence against women happens in all cultures, ethnicities, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities and socio-economic situations. However, there are aspects of your identity and life circumstances that can make you more vulnerable to abuse and violence. This Social Risks Wheel shows different risks that can increase your exposure to violence, create barriers to support and make it difficult to leave an abusive relationship. The Social Risks Wheel aims to help you consider your entire situation. This is very important when developing a safety plan.
