Living in a rural area?

As a survivor living in a rural area, you may face unique challenges. Abusive partners often try to isolate survivors. This is easy to do in rural communities, where there are more barriers than supports.

You may feel isolated, but we are here to provide emotional support, information and referrals to services that could be of help to you. We can help you stay safer at home or cope with your situation. You know what's best for you better than anyone. If your situation does not feel safe, trust your instincts. We can help you work out a plan and cover your tracks when you feel ready to leave.
